Individuals and community groups were presented with their Heart of Horsforth Awards at the full Council meeting on Thurs 30th January, acknowledging their exceptional work in the community.  We are delighted that the Community Award (one of the 5 different awards) was presented to Horsforth Churches Together for the part it plays in the community of Horsforth. Thankful for the better weather this year, the team swung into action and there was a wonderful atmosphere as an estimated more than 800 people gathered to enjoy singing well-known carols and listen to a short service of blessing, ably accompanied by ‘The Stroke of Genius Big Band’, as well as being served a warm drink and a mince pie!
