Horsforth Shed – a place to Connect, Converse and Create
‘We aim to help make our community thrive by offering workshop-based activities , a place where people get together and learn new skills in a supportive environment. There is a well-equipped workshop with experienced staff together and – just as important – a social area for refreshments where folk can get to know each other over a cup of tea or coffee.’
The old scout hut at St James’ Woodside Church was converted into a fantastic community workshop through the hard work and vision of volunteers and many kind donations.
It opened in July 2022 and now has Drop in sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays, as well as running sessions for school groups and The Lighthouse at other times.
