More than 800 people gathered to sing together and enjoy a winter warmer drink and a mince pie on Saturday, enjoying the nice dry weather. The bandstand looked fantastic all lit up with fairy lights, thanks to the hard work of our volunteer light technicians! REWIND TO CHRISTMAS with over 300 children With a great team of volunteers, we had a fun-filled and thought-provoking time ‘rewinding’ back to the first Christmas with over 300 children, including puzzles, videos, meeting characters, craft and dressing people as Christmas trees! Teacher Feedback was excellent Town Street Christmas Market – Nativity Dress up! Volunteers gave out our HCT cards and advertised Carols in the Park, whilst our characters encouraged people to dress up and take pictures by the stable – children were given a comic book style leaflet of the Christmas Story. If you would like to support the pantry this Christmas we are asking people to create a reverse advent calendar. This is where you pick an item a day to donate and put it in a box. Even a partial filled calendar would be greatly appreciated and will be of great help to the families that the pantry supports this Christmas.
