On Saturday lots of people enjoyed walking through the ‘Festival of Angels’ at Grove Church – a combination of nearly 30 Angels or groups of angels made by Community Groups, together with over 1,000 paper angels strung from the ceiling and around the church – a veritable ‘heavenly host’ experience! Huge thanks to everyone who contributed to this spectacular display! On Sunday 23rd June people enjoyed lovely scones and cakes and made new friends around tables in the Grove Centre, with beautiful flute music in the background provided by members of the Leeds Flute Choir. Amongst those attending were local councillors and dignitaries, people from churches and community organisations, and people seeking asylum who have come here from different countries around the world.
